Owning and operating and sKids Franchise
sKids is a fast growing international company looking for dedicated owner-operators who enjoy working with children and working in their community. Our sKids programs are franchised to carefully selected, highly trained owner-operators who then operate the sKids service as a small business.
We are looking for both qualified franchisees and for people who have management qualities and possess a desire to own their own business. Minimum qualifications standards vary state to state, but you do not need to be qualified in child care to own a business. sKids Australia can provide you with details on qualifications required by your state.
If you are interested in owning a business and employing appropriately qualified staff, sKids Australia can provide details on what qualifications staff members must hold. At least one staff member on duty must hold a minimum of a diploma or qualification in Children’s Services.
As of 1 January 2012, all OSHC centres for school aged children operate in line with the new National Government Standards. sKids Australia Head Office will assist you in all registration requirements and to ensure franchisees are compliant with the National Quality Framework for OSHC.
"Having my own business has always been a dream that I was determined to make reality. The opportunity to own a sKids franchise was perfect for me as it was essential that my business provided a service and made a difference. As a mother of three I am very aware of the importance of excellent child care provision.
The program has done great things in New Zealand and I am excited to be part of a team that is bringing sKids to Australia. Head office have been so supportive and the training I received has boosted my confidence and I can't wait to put it all into practice."
