History:

Hire for baby was established in 1987, by Carolyn Dufton who established the brand “Hire for Babe” now known as Hire for Baby (name change 2007). Since inception this group has only had 3 franchisors including the current Franchisors. The brand was developed to fill a niche, that was initially created by government bodies offering capsule hire services. It was noted that there was a lack of short term hire options for families travelling within Australia.

In 2008 the current Franchisors have redeveloped the brand to extend beyond its initial cottage “hobby” franchise to a full turn key operation, focusing on brand, corporate accounts, and a discipline market plan to attract and expand beyond the simple capsule hire Program. The Group works closely with suppliers, and industry groups to provide a consistent professional experience.
