| Car Care started operations in WA in 1987 and commenced franchising in 1990. Since the granting of the first franchise the business has continued to expand to around 100 individual franchisees operating throughout Australia and New Zealand and is the only truly national provider of mobile car detailing services. Car Care was ranked in the top 50 fastest growing franchises by BRW in their annual focus on franchising in February 2006 - not bad for a company approaching its 20th anniversary.

What do Car Care franchisees do? Car Care promotes itself as a mobile service where the operator takes everything necessary to the customer's place of work or home. This is what we believe sets us apart from our competitors as you are never in a position where you can't do the job. The type of job undertaken varies from a basic wash at around $50 to full interior/exterior protection at up to $1250. Your customers will vary from regular corporate clients whom you visit on a fortnightly basis to one-off pre-sale details. Franchisees have their own exclusive marketing territory and are in complete control of their workload. They are able to supplement their own customer base with those provided through our State based call centres and the many centrally negotiated contracts Car Care enjoys with the major motor manufacturers.
Do I need experience? No! We provide full training - initially a one week residential training course, followed by ongoing support and training in the field.
With over 100 businesses like yours on the road there are plenty of people to help should you come across something new.
What do I need? Whilst you don't need to be a car buff it does help if you have an interest because you get to work on some real gems.
- Being good with people is a definite advantage as it helps you to build your business more quickly and grow your regulars.
