MEDIA RELEASE: 24th September 2007
Louise Broekman, Founder and Director of HR Coach, has been selected as a Queensland Finalist in the prestigious Telstra Business Women’s Awards. Ms Broekman’s achievements have been recognised in two categories – QLD Australian Government Business Innovation Award and QLD Yellow Business Owner Award.
“To be recognised by the Telstra Business Women’s Awards is very exciting for me both personally and professionally”, said Ms Broekman. “This recognition is wonderful validation of the fantastic work that the HR Coach Network has done in the business community.”
Ms Broekman founded the HR Coach Network in 2006 after six years of research, development and consultation with small to medium sized businesses across Australia. Through her experience as a small business owner as well as holding senior positions in the Tourism sector, Ms Broekman recognised that many businesses were struggling to effectively manage their staff. “Businesses were literally crying out for help to address staffing issues- both from an operational and strategic level. By launching the HR Coach Network, we have provided the assistance that businesses desperately require as well as providing an opportunity for new business owners to enter the market.”
