Go Sushi Toowoomba wins Franchisee of the Year Award

Mark and Kathy Blake, Franchise Owners of Go Sushi at Toowoomba Grand Central, have taken home the Pacific Retail Management Franchisee of the Year Award for 2011.
The Award was presented at the inaugural PRM Annual Franchisee Conference and Awards Dinner which was held earlier this month in Brisbane.
Having overcome many obstacles in the past year with the relocation and refurbishment of their Go Sushi business, they faced challenges such as: ‘who will know where we’ve moved’ and ‘will our regulars identify with our new look’. However customers have continued to flock to their store with the last few months’ sales better than ever.
“Mark and Kathy truly deserved this award; they have been a stand-out in the group over the past 12months. They have a fantastic manager in store, and their positive attitude and desire to work on improving areas of the business to drive the best sales possible is a huge asset to the Go Sushi Franchise Group” says Carly Taber, National Marketing Manager.
The Awards Dinner was part of a 2 day Conference put together by Pacific Retail Management, focusing on educating and training Franchisee’s Managers and Staff in visual merchandising and customer service; to enhance their skills and continue to drive strong sales.
Awards were also awarded to Franchisee’s that have performed well in marketing and operations. Winners included:
